The premium 12-month-aged Dürr Classic cheese is a signature hard cheese with no equivalent in Russia. It has a delicate blend of savoury and tangy flavours and a pungent aroma. The texture is grainy, eyeless, with a lot of flavour crystals. The product is ideal for an exquisite cheeseboard. It pairs well with dry white and red wines.
Inspired by Austrian Bergkäse cheese, Dürr Classic cheese is made using state-of-the-art cheesemaking technologies with Brevibacterium Linens for natural maturation of smear-ripened cheeses. The growing colony of B. linens forms a sticky coating on the cheese surface, which imparts orange colour to the rind and unique full-bodied flavour to the cheese. The product is manufactured exclusively from EkoNiva Grade A cheese milk from own dairies selected based on 29 parameters at Shchuchye cheese plant in Liski district, Voronezh oblast.
